Why the name Intrepid Architecture?
Intrepid, meaning fearless,
bold, and determined, describes my personal journey of
exploration in the study of architecture and design. Our lives are
constantly influenced by various design philosophies and this blog is
an attempt at a personal understanding of myself, defining what I
consider to be “Beauty” in architecture, and organizing my own
design principles. I hope you enjoy this blog and maybe begin to
think differently on architecture and design within our modern world.
Why a unique font?
While studying architecture at Ball
State University in Muncie, Indiana, I began to reanalyze my personal
handwriting and how different fonts are written. During this time, I
taught myself the basics of calligraphy and begin to re-design my
writing style. The Header and signatures you see is one iteration of
my writing style re-enhanced by vectoring the letters for more
perfection of the style. I hope to one day create the font for
programs like Microsoft Word and Adobe Illustrator for exclusive use
in my future design projects.
